Fahrenheit 9/11 breaks UK doc record

Fahrenheit 9/11 breaks UK doc record: "Michael Moore's controversial film Fahrenheit 9/11 has broken box office records for a documentary in the UK, taking 1.3 million pounds since its release on Friday.
The film - a scathing attack on President George W Bush's presidency and his decision to go to war on Iraq - opened on 132 screens and has been greeted by standing ovations from cinema-goers.
It now looks set to beat mountaineering film Touching the Void, which took 2.58 million pounds, as the most popular documentary in UK film history.
In the US, Fahrenheit 9/11 has taken $80 million (45m) so far. "
