Dar Al-Hayat, Saudi Arabia

Dar Al Hayat: "The idea of Fahrenheit 9/11 is that George W. Bush led the U.S. into war, in order to please the eagerness for economic interests of a group of oil and weapon companies, related to members in his administration, members of his family, the Saudi royal family, and Osama bin Laden's family.
This is simply incorrect; despite the fact that some companies have indeed benefited, nevertheless President Bush did not launch a war in order to serve them. As for Moore's talk about the Saudi royal family, or bin Laden's family, this has become a repeated subject; books were published about this issue, which came out from neo-cons who are experts in their hatred of everything Arab or Muslim. Despite that, Moore joins them in lashing out accusations without proofs, whereas these latter are his enemies as much as they are Saudi Arabia's enemies.
It could be too much asking to expect total meticulousness from a cinema director. Moore is presenting a documentary, and not a sci-fi movie; nevertheless, he mixes facts and information with his own opinions, before moving to the next scene. I personally think that Moore's films and books reflect his personality; he is a chaotic man, of the blatant type, who typically tends to use bold letters suddenly in the middle of a talk, in order to emphasize a certain matter. This style is not adopted in decent books."
