toledoblade.com: Michael Moore brings message to city

toledoblade.com: "Michael Moore, the Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and harsh critic of the Bush administration, was in Toledo last night with a simple message: 'Kerry good. Bush gone. That's good.'
He said he came with a promise for George W. Bush when he loses the election. 'I'm offering to George W. Bush, I'm going to pay for the U-Haul,' he said.
Mr. Moore was at downtown's SeaGate Centre as part of his 'Slacker Uprising' tour hitting 60 cities nationwide. The tour's goal is to encourage people who usually do not vote to cast their ballot on Nov. 2.
He was joined last night by feminist and Toledo native Gloria Steinem as well as comedian Roseanne Barr and Tom Morello of the band Audioslave and formerly of Rage Against the Machine.
The tour stop by the maker of Fahrenheit 9/11, the first documentary movie to break $100 million at the box office, was a mix of rock concert and get-out-the-vote pep rally."
