"Slacker Uprising Tour" Crew Blog: With Election Day approaching, "theft" is a word that many of us who want a fair and just election fear. Some are predicting that Ohio will be this year's Florida, and Republicans have already announced that they will have "monitors" at the polls challenging the legitimacy of voters, especially in Democratic precincts. Today at Youngstown State University in front of an overflow crowd, Mike spoke about how we will not let the Republicans steal the election again, and how he is forming an army of filmmakers to place a spotlight on any shenanigans in this state, as well as Florida and all other battleground states. In Broward County, almost 60,000 absentee ballots that were mailed on October 7 and 8 have not been received. So after the stop in Youngstown, it was off to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to encourage all to vote and do whatever it takes to be heard on November 2nd. Whether it be voting early, which is available in Florida, demanding an absentee ballot, or the just voting at the ballot box on Election Day, all Broward County citizens will make their voices heard, regardless of who their choice is for President.
