in 2,300 Homes Tonight. Film Sparks New Grassroots Mobilization for
November Presidential Election.

Join the On-Line Town Hall Meeting Tonight @ 8:15EST:

Over 30,000 MoveOn members will join a conference call with Fahrenheit 911 director, Michael Moore, as part of Moveon PAC’s grassroots mobilization campaign for the November presidential election.

House parties in 2,300 homes across the country will also provide resources for Moveon members who wish to participate in electoral activity to defeat George Bush. Many have been motivated by Moore’s film to go beyond their internet activity to door knocking and phone banking.

“Fahrenheit 911 has stimulated a conversation in households across America about this Administration’s decisions and actions,” said Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn PAC. “Our house parties will provide them with more information and give them tools they need to help educate and motivate others.”

At each gathering, in every state across the country, MoveOn PAC members will organize local actions with their neighbors to win back the White House, as part of a massive effort to educate and register millions of voters before November. Each meeting will provide an inside view of how MoveOn PAC is playing a critical role in mobilizing the Democratic base.

One house party in New York City will include celebrity activists such as: Rosie Perez, Moby, Q-Tip, Le Tigre, Edie Falco, Federico Castellucio, Rose McGowan, Lucy Liu, and Bill Pullman. A complete list of house parties by zip code can be found at: http://action.moveonpac.org/f911/

The online conference call with Michael Moore will begin promptly at 8:15 PM Eastern/Mountain time and 7:15 PM Central/Pacific at: http://www.moveonpac.org/f911/moore/.
