DNC Blog: Newsplex/Cingular Wireless Election Connection

Newsplex/Cingular Wireless Election Connection: "A sold-out crowd at the Coolidge Corner Theatre listened to Michael Moore address a number of topics during remarks before a screening of his documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.

Highlights:

Moore directed questions to the media. He asked media members why they do not ask hard hitting questions, specifically about Bush family ties to the Saudi Arabian ruling family. 'Why not ask the questions? Why are the questions wrong?'
Moore says he has not endorsed Kerry and has never met him. Moore said his job is to keep an eye on those in power. 'When John Kerry wins the election, on Nov. 3, I'll turn my camera on him to keep him honest.'
Moore says his next movie will deal with healthcare. 'I want to make a film that clearly lays out what the problem is. And it will be a comedy.'
Moore taped a show with Bill O'Reilly because O'Reilly promised not to edit it at all. He also said he does not want to speak at the convention. 'It's a dangerous proposition to put me on a stage with a live microphone,' he said.'"
