Pulse24 - Toronto's News

Pulse24 - Toronto's News: "Michael Moore won't be changing the name of his controversial film "Fahrenheit 9/11" to "Celsius 9/11" when it plays in Canada. But he's expecting a much better reception here than he'll get in the States.

The maverick American documentary maker is in Toronto for the gala debut of his Palme d'Or winning flick at the Varsity Theatre. So far, the film, which is about George Bush and his family's alleged ties to al-Qaida, has been giving him nothing but heartaches across the border.

Three theatre chains have refused to show the movie, he's under constant attack from the White House, his website's server - which is based in Canada - has been the target of hackers, and he even has increased security following him around everywhere.

Which is why he's happy to be in T.O. "I said to my wife "I gotta go watch this movie with a bunch of Canadians,'" he laughs."I just wanted to sit in a roomful of Canadians and sit in the back and just watch them watch this movie. I'm under vicious attack by so many people in the U.S. right now, this is like a day spa for me!"
