'Fahrenheit 9/11' coming here

Michael Moore film on Bush, Iraq war will be at Michigan Theater

'Fahrenheit 9/11' coming here: "Nancy Doyal, the Michigan Theater's director of operations and programming, has great news for Michael Moore fans: 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' which examines links between President George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden's family, while also addressing the current war in Iraq, will begin its run at the Michigan Theater on Friday, June 25, the first day of its release in 500-1,000 theaters nationwide.
Doyal is also working to obtain permission for a midnight screening of the film on June 24, but she has not yet received an answer. Thus far, the Michigan is the only theater in the area able to confirm showings of Moore's film on its release date.
'We've been getting several e-mails for a while now, asking, 'Are you going to get this, are you going to get this?'' Doyal said. 'It was difficult to respond. We'd contacted the booker and put our request in, so we were waiting to see if we got it or not. But we got those e-mails before the film even had a distributor.' "
